OLSPS has developed the OLSPS Statistical Interpreter for the automatic production of a high quality interpretation of IBM SPSS Statistics output in the form of a report.

OLSPS Statistical Interpreter (SI) is an easy-to-use tool that seamlessly integrates automatic word processing capabilities with SPSS Statistics. The output generated by SPSS is typically not presentation or report ready. The tables of statistics presented to the user require a substantial amount of knowledge and comprehension to truly beneft from the results. Some SPSS analyses result in well formatted outputs, however, the results are never presented together with a deeper interpretation that benefts the user, until now.

The SI tool is currently in the form of an extension bundle that is installed directly within SPSS. Now SPSS users can obtain numerical results. All the user has to do is select the SI functionality from the comfort of the Output Viewer and a well formatted document will be automatically generated. The document, in Word or HTML format, incorporates the main findings as well as meaningful interpretations of the results. With SI, a user can take a more aggressive approach and tackle their data projects with more confidence.

How does it work?

Users are able to generate presentation ready reports with just a few clicks.

Currently, the Statistical Interpreter is distributed to OLSPS clients as a value-add software bundled with IBM SPSS Statistics. But watch this space as the Statistical Interpreter tool is set to be launched up, up to the cloud. This means that all SPSS Statistics users, even non-OLSPS clients, will have access to this tool. The cloud offering will operate under a pay-per-use model, and will be available for your report generation needs regardless of where you are – in the office, at home or travelling.
