This is an introductory course on the use of SPSS and is designed to give you a working knowledge of SPSS, with the aim of equipping you for the more advanced topics discussed in the other training courses.
This course aims to help you draw better statistical inferences from your empirical research. We will start off by discussing various statistical models that you can apply to your research to assist you in answering the different questions that you might be interested in.
This course introduces many examples of data management and transformation techniques that you can access through SPSS’ user interface and command syntax. SPSS Statistics (SPSS) contains powerful tools for accomplishing and automating these tasks. While most of this capability is available through the graphical user interface, many of the most powerful features are available only through the command syntax.
